We have worked hard to construct a network of professionals that we work with to enhance the overall outcome for our clients through coordinated medical care.
It is important to note that there are certain medical procedures or treatments that go outside our scope of practice. Exercise physiologists can not diagnose disease, prescribe medications, perform chiropractic or physiotherapy services, or provide psychological counseling.
We do not claim to be a solution to the whole puzzle, but rather a missing piece to the overall healthcare process. Exercise physiology can complement overall health care by dedicating the needed resources to clients who need to address underlying issues, such as weight control or exercise therapy, in a place that physicians and professions can safely trust.
Examples of our partnerships include general physicians, surgeons, medical specialists, chiropractors, clinical counselors, and naturopathic doctors.
FitMetabolism is currently affiliated with several medical clinics and local family physicians.

Health Clubs and Exercise Professionals
Many of our clients belong to a fitness club, run with a group, attend boot-camps, or use a personal trainer. We do our best to support clients by encouraging them to continue their memberships or classes, recognizing that convenience and enjoyment of exercise is an important factor in the long-term adoption of healthy behavior.
Currently, as part of a pilot project, FitMetabolism is the exclusive source of exercise physiology consulting for World Health Club in Edgemont. Our exercise physiologists work with personal trainers to deliver added services to client care by offering assessment, nutritional programming, and lifestyle counseling.
FitMetabolism is willing to partner with other exercise professionals or fitness organizations to enhance their client’s results.
