Shane lives with a passion to understand all aspects of exercise and fitness related to healthy living. He obtained an undergraduate degree in biomechanics (Kinesiology) from the University of Calgary and a Masters of Science in exercise physiology from Brock University in Southern Ontario. In addition, he has been published in a peer reviewed journal for his work on maintaining exercise outputs based on perceived exertion, and writes for an online health and fitness website. He has training and experience with assessing biomechanical gait and with every aspect of healthy lifestyles. His short term career goals include becoming a certified exercise physiologist. While Shane’s experience comes from an athletic and performance arena, his passion for people and inspiring positive change in their lives brought him to the Fit Metabolism team. He is determined to create a balance between his theoretical background and maintaining a positive relationship with his clients. This incorporates taking time to understand your situation and developing a personalized approach that guarantees success. Shane challenges you to incorporate all aspects of a mind-body relationship into your lifestyle to encourage prevention over rehabilitation.
